Is your skin dark
and dull? Do you want to achieve a fair and flawless skin? If yes, then
continue reading to find out the natural ways of lightening your skin.
Currently, there
are many creams in the market designed to lighten/bleach your skin; but
overtime, this bleaching cream does more damage than good to the skin and sometimes
some individuals end up being “albinos” instead of being light.
Before I go
further, kindly know the causes of dark and dull skin which includes over
exposure to sunlight, poor lifestyle, constant usage of chemical based products,
dry skin, environmental pollution, etc.
My people, in a bid
to lighten your skin, don’t waste your hard-earned money buying chemical
products; instead try the following natural steps.
Yoghurt:
This is a by-product of milk and it contains essential ingredients that can
make your skin glow naturally. For several weeks, massage your skin with
yoghurt and leave for 10-15 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. Alternatively,
a mixture of yoghurt, oatmeal and lemon juice will have same effect if applied
on the skin using the afore-mentioned steps.
Honey:
This is a very good moisturizing agent and it contains anti-bacteria that can
help remove acne scars and ageing spots sign. By applying honey on your skin,
leaving it for 15-20 minutes and washing it off with lukewarm water, you skin
must become lighter and fresher overtime.
Aloe
Vera Gel: Just like honey, aloe vera contains
antibacterial properties and it has the ability to retain the skin original
colour by removing “hyper pigmentation” which is a major cause of
uneven skin tone. For 2 weeks, to get the light skin that you desperately
desire, apply aloe vera gel on your skin for ½ an hour then wash off with
water.
Lemon: This is very rich in
vitamin c and it contains superb acidic properties that make it act as a
natural bleaching agent. For best results, cut a lemon into 2 halves, apply on
your skin for 1 hour and wash it off with water. Please do not apply if there
is a wound on your skin because, lemon is very acidic and it might cause
serious pains when it comes in contact with injury.
