SURVIVE ON CAMPUS WITHOUT COOKING (A MUST READ)

After looking at the topic you are probably thinking “how possible is it for a student to survive without cooking”? On campus, everything is possible; just believe!

Be Ready To Spend: Cooking on campus is not a MUST! On a daily basis, you can always get food from the mama-put restaurant closest to you. Come to think of it, if a plate of food costs N200, it means that every day you must spend at least N400 if you eat twice a day. N400 times 30 days would amount to N12,000 for 1 month. With your current pocket money, can you spend N12,000 a month on feeding?

Prepare To Beg: If you are not willing to cook, then get ready to “waka well”. This means that, you must be very observant; that is, immediately you see your neighbour cooking, just enter their room and start joking with them. By so doing, you have a 95% chance of eating.

Alternatively, once you notice that your neighbour is preparing soup, just go and prepare your eba. As soon as your neighbour is done cooking the soup, just enter his/her room and say “eba don ready; bring your soup”.

The truth is, if you do any of the steps outlined above for more than five times, soonest, you neighbours will tag you “an hungry fellow” and start behaving hostile towards you.

Young boy/girl, instead of passing through this stress, why don’t you head to the market, buy your foodstuffs and cook!

Get A Girlfriend: Some girls like cooking for guys to eat. However, for you to have a girlfriend on campus that would be willing to cook for you, it’s either you are a “rich boyfriend” or you are helping her academically through private tutorials.

Be Ready To Starve: Since you can’t buy, beg or get a girlfriend to cook for you, then be ready to starve. By the time your body starts shaking and you are close to dying, no one will advise you to go and cook.

In conclusion therefore, as a Nigerian student, it is better for you to cook as this would make you save money and reduce all the insults associated with begging for food.
